Management and salespeople within companies are all too familiar with the issue: the proliferation of emails we write, receive, or must read because we are copied in. Every day, we waste valuable time dealing with emails. Salesforce can help us with this.
Is it possible to reduce—for example—the time spent on the approval of an offer, avoiding the laborious back-and-forth of exchanged emails?
Salesforce can provide significant support in offer approval, both by modelling and automating the approval process, and by providing full visibility into the status of ongoing offers.

You can use automation rules to create automatic approval processes for your offers. For example, you can set up Salesforce so that offers are automatically sent to a manager for approval every time they reach a certain amount, have a specific deadline, or involve a client from a certain industry. In this way, the approval process becomes more agile and faster, as offers are sent automatically to the approvers without the need for manual intervention or email exchanges. Approvers can act either inside or outside the office, using a PC or simply a mobile phone.
Additionally, Salesforce provides full visibility into the status of ongoing offers, with reports and dashboards that show which offers have been sent for approval, which have been approved, and which have been rejected. This allows sales managers to keep track of ongoing offers and make informed decisions about which offers to send for approval. This reduces the need for interaction and, therefore, for email communications.
The entropy caused by the dozens of emails we send and receive daily— with Salesforce— isn’t limited only to the offer approval processes.
Salesforce offers a range of collaboration tools that help reduce the number of exchanged emails, such as the ability to create real-time discussions with colleagues or securely share documents. Moreover, Salesforce integrates many external communication tools, such as Slack or Microsoft Teams, meaning you can use these platforms to communicate with your colleagues instead of sending emails.
Freeing up the time spent on low-value intellectual tasks allows us to focus on high-value strategic activities for the business, enhancing both the quality of our work and the performance of the company we work for. An undeniable win-win that benefits everyone and is at the heart of Studioware’s mission.
