“Coding for the Future” is a collection of initiatives aimed at raising awareness among young people about STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and guiding them toward a conscious choice of university or professional paths in the field of computing. For younger participants (the initiative is also targeted at children aged nine and up), it is a moment of fun, play, and encouragement of problem-solving, logical reasoning, and creative thinking.
The primary objective of this initiative is to prepare young people for the rapid evolution of the world we live in. For older participants, it offers a valuable look at the job market, equipping them with the skills needed to face future challenges starting from what they encounter today, in their present. Through a series of interactive workshops, seminars, and hands-on labs, participants have the opportunity to develop key skills in programming and computing.
Additionally, “Coding for the Future” aims to raise awareness of the new professional roles required by the market and promote understanding of career opportunities in the tech sector. Since this year, participants have had the chance to meet experienced industry professionals, listen to their career stories, and receive valuable advice on how to build a career in computing.
