studioware formazione al mattei di Vasto per il progetto "Coding for the future"

On 20th May, at the “E. Mattei” Technical Institute in Vasto, a guidance session was held for students interested in the tech world, alongside the 5^A and 5^B Computer Science classes. The event was organised by Studioware, a company specialising in CRM solutions as a Salesforce partner, and software development in the AWS environment.

Studioware’s presentation to the students

Studioware is an innovative and dynamic company, specialising in consultancy and the development of CRM solutions and software development in the AWS environment. As a Salesforce partner, a global leader in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions, and using the capabilities offered by Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud, Studioware stands out for its ability to offer customised and cutting-edge solutions for its clients.

Interview with Marco Taraborrelli, tech lead at Studioware

During the event, students had the opportunity to listen to Marco Taraborrelli, Senior Full Stack Developer and Tech Lead at Studioware. Marco shared his typical day and career path, which started with a degree in Computer Science and culminated in the role of Tech Lead within the company. “My job offers daily challenges that push me to grow continuously“, Marco explained. “There are many responsibilities, but seeing my team achieve important goals is extremely rewarding.” He also highlighted that the most enjoyable part of his job is the opportunity to innovate, work on technically interesting projects, and collaborate with brilliant and motivated people.

Interview with Mattia Celenza, junior CRM consultant at Studioware

Another special guest during the morning was Mattia Celenza, a young Junior CRM Consultant who, after earning a degree in languages, found his way into the CRM world. Mattia has been working at Studioware for two years, focusing on the analysis and customisation of CRM products. “My career journey has been surprising so far“, Mattia said, excited to share his story with younger students. “Every project is an opportunity to learn something new and improve my skills.”

The Importance of attitudes beyond the classroom

Renato De Ficis, General Manager of Studioware, spoke about the importance of attitudes, soft skills, or behaviours necessary to succeed in the field of computing. “Technical skills are essential, but for a successful career, it is important to ‘recognise’ and develop personal attitudes,” Renato explained. “Communication, problem-solving, innovation, and creativity – for example – are indispensable qualities that every IT professional can recognise in themselves, train, and continuously develop.”

Brainstorming and survey

To make the morning more interactive, the students participated in a brainstorming session on the attitudes they believe are important in the world of work. They then filled out a short survey to measure some of the key attitudes of an IT professional, such as communication, problem-solving, innovation, and creativity. The survey results were then discussed together in a lively debate.

Food for thought

The morning concluded with two valuable pieces of advice from Renato De Ficis. “Dream by setting goals so that your dreams don’t remain just dreams,” Renato urged. “Outside of school, whether at university or in the workforce, use a ‘magic indicator‘: count the ‘thank yous’ you say along with the ‘thank yous’ you receive. The first will measure your gratitude towards the world; gratitude puts us in a positive, optimal, and receptive position. The second ‘thank yous’ will measure how helpful you are to others. Companies look for and value those who are useful to their colleagues; they are the ones who become the pillars of a winning team.

The event was a valuable opportunity for the students of the Mattei Institute in Vasto to engage with the job market or university path, to learn about the real demands of the IT sector, and to understand how best to prepare for a successful career.

Through its “Coding for the Future” project, Studioware continues to give back time and energy to the community, with the aim of positively impacting and inspiring the new generations. Just a drop in the ocean, but one that helps create a better world around us.
